OH, WHAT A CELEBRATION: the magic of "Cultivating Community..."
The magic of "cultivating community" really came together as Oxford Farmers Market Uptown and MiamiOxfordOrganicNetwork held their joint celebration under the direction of Marge Glaser at Oxford Community Arts Center Ballroom on Sunday Oct 25.
Around 150 people attended both organizations' annual meetings, held a raffle of donated community goods, contributed to Market Share (bring something/take something), offered up more fresh/local/seasonal food than could be consumed and serenaded the gathering all the while; what a party!

GREEN SCREEN—
an environmental film series from the Oxford I.C.C.W.G.
Green Screen presents films and videos about the science, art and spirituality of the natural environment. Presented on the second Wednesday of each month starting in September. We aim to show films on the environment that educate, amuse, motivate and inspire. All films are presented at 7:00p.m. at the Oxford Community Arts Center. Films are free but donations are greatly appreciated. Think of it as “eco-tainment.”
